Okay, well barcelona is really a neat city… very nice.. nothing spectacular happened today aside from being ripped off by a dick head at a restraunt… fucking 7 euros (like 10 bucks) for 1 can of fanta… WTF!!! We saw a church that has been in construction for 200 years… but mainly we did alot of walking today. Tomorrow night we are getting a night train to milano (yes, like the cookie) in italy… they were full on regular seats, but had a sleeper cabin available… which is like 75 euros a person (100 bucks) … but in the end that ended up being cheaper than staying here another night and then getting a regular chair on a night train… so im glad we did it… I do hate dealing with the train stations though… seems like it allways takes us 2 hours to get a train booked. anyways… i will add what pictures i have taken so far of barcelona! and remember… if u wanna browse through my pictures the full albums are in the photo album…
Oh yeah!!!! I will be home on july 15th! I am going to call STA travel and redo my flight for that day! So somebody either buy me a decent meal or cook it… im tried of sandwiches and 10 dollar soda!

arrived in bareclona in 1 pc… after this we go through italy, and then i have to make my way back towards london because i have to fly out of london or i lose my plane ticket. so that might be a long jounry… we have the unsed tickets for disney land in paris, so we might stop off there and use them… i mean why not? they are allready paid for ..

We arrived in estepona (spain) and have been staying with luke’s lovley grandparents. We got over to gibralta today, which is actually part of the uk.. its like a small port and military island! I will have my pictures from lisboa (lisbon) up today though!! Maybe later tonight i will start uploading the pictures i have taken of this area thus far… great place… sea breeze, nice beaches and oceans… and a dry 95 outside… its great weather. Peering out on the porch.. I am looking at moraco from across the sea… Kinda weird… i see aferica! Anyways, im going to be eating soon.. and then i need a shower, but when i get back on later to check some things… I will see about uploading some more photos!! I also have a video i need to edit of me stopping on that zip line.

Okay, so as im writing this i am sitting on a train from porto to lisbon (portugal) .. The
day before yesterday we left Filipe’s country house and he told us about this zip line we
should do on the way back into the city. It sounded like something fun to do… Once we
got there, I” saw the cable and realised it was like 1″ thick.. So im starting to wonder how
long this zip line is… It turned out to be just under 1 mile… Its the longest zip line
in the world. We paid our dues, got harnessed up… and he pulled the release cord… The
zip line basically is from 1 mountain peak to another.. so the valley in the middle is
about 1000 ft. below you. Not to mention you reach highway speeds while on the line… It
was pretty intense. It felt like flying… being that high up and going that fast… The
wind hitting your face hard enough to make it do that flappy thing. Was pretty damn cool…
So then we went to his family’s vinyard and winery… drank some rare green wine… which
was pretty interesting tasting.. Not to mention it was a breath taking place! After we got
back into town and checked into the hostel, I realised i left my camera in filipe’s car…
so you will have to forgive me for the lack of photos for porto. Other luke took a few i
think i could steal from him. I also think i have a video of me stopping on the zip line
(it slopes down… then gradually rises back up to slow you down, then u hit a brake.)
Porto was a decent city, we did end up getting into a insult competition with a group of
children on a feild trip. Aparrently the only words they knew in English were insults…
It ended up being kind of funny… damn kids were mouthy though… I wanted to throw this 1
little shit overboard and leave his ass in the river.
But anyways, we are going to stay in lisbon for 2 days, then make our way to other luke’s
grandparent’s house. maybe we will get a few days on the beach or something… But when we
arrive I will try to post this blog up..

Well we are here, and within only a few hours we had 6 differnt people offer us drugs…
wow. Pretty shitty if u ask me, makes me want to write a heated letter to someone or
something! We have not found a beach or anything yet… but maybe i will go down stairs
and ask someone about that…. i wouldnt mind just hanging out and doing nothing on a beach
for a day…. just drinking beer and getting sun burned.

Sorry i have not posted ina few days, the internet connection was a little bit of a bitch to deal with once inside the porto city limits. Evberything is well, except i left my camera in filipe’s car the other day.. So before we bail on porto, i really need to get that back!!
Anyways guys… i’ll try to give u guys a better post and such when i have time about what i did since my last post, and some pictures aand such as well.. the only 2 notable things are the longest zip line in the world, and i drank some green vine from a vinyard we visited that filipe’s family owns!

well this morning, i woke up at about 9, and started moving about. As i was walking down the wall to get a drink of water from the kitchen… I heard a loud crack, and a sharp pain in my foot. Looked down, and realized I found a weak spot in the wood floor, and broke the flooring.. My foot was fine, no broken skin really… just scratched and tender for a few minutes. 
So im waiting for Filipe to get up, so i can give him the bad news.. sonafa! But right now im sitting outside in the shade in 25c temp… which is something like 76-78f .. really nce morning. Before I post this, i think i might take a short walk around and snap some pictures of the farm, some of the cherry trees… even the old barn and stuff. I slept like a baby, which was like night and day compared to last night… i dont even know why that last place bothered with beds… they might as well had a fire going with it being 35 outside (95f).. I have got pretty good at knowing the temp in both sets of measurments… I took a walk around the area, took some pictures.. and in a bit I think we are going to go cherry picking. This place is pure bliss.. This is the type of place you would want to retire to… nothing but beautiful country side, rolling hills, great smells… and if you need a snack, walk out on the back patio, and 10 yards in front of you is an orchard of cherrys… or down the road a little more there are some chestnuts. Anyways, i have to get some information for our travels through portugal and into southern spain… bye guys!

Well today im spending the night and getting some much needed rest at a cherry farm outside of porto, portugal… This place is gorgeous… i will have to take pictures of it in the morning! Luke has a friend who is showing us the best hospitality and kindness by allowing us to stay here a night, as well as show us around. I spent the evening bbq’n, playing guitar, and just watching the sun set over the mountains.. No stress, no worries, just relaxation. I will post pictures and stuff tomorrow if i have enough time! Maybe I will post a little more about this place and Filipe (our host)

Well we spent like 4 hours today just trying to figure out how we were getting to our next location (porto, portugal) … so i went around speaking my broken spanish trying to explain to the people at the train station what we wanted to do.. we ended up giving up after the only thing they would offer us is a overnight train on the wrong day to lisbon… which was 9 hours, and in the wrong direction of portugal. We went to the bus station, waited in line… just to find out we were at the wrong station, we were at the domestic travel bus station… at this point, we were both like ‘fuck this…’ So we ended up finding a flight to the right town, at the right time… but it took up half the day. If i was a more organized person… this trip would make my ass pucker.
Anyways… here are todays madrid pictures… Im heading to portugal really early in the morning, and i should have internet there… so i will be able to keep blogging and uploading pictures… speaking of pictures… I have allready taken more than 1 GB of photos…
we arrived in madrid last night… and we got a little lost after we walked right by our hostel… ran into a couple of black fellows who seemed to have a problem with us. I ended up finding 2 really nice guys who walked us around… got rid of the black guys, and got us all the way to our hostel.. I feel alot better after a shower… 15 hour train rides suck. Right now we are trying to figure out our situation for the next town… which is in portugal. then we need to go make train reservations, and then we need to go see the city.. after all that crap we are going to a ham bar and some other stuff…
Ill try to get pics up tonight after we explore and stuffs..
