Everytime I see a person at the gym who does nothing but use the tread mill for hours on end, day after day.. I laugh to myself.  Most of them are there to either lose weight or try to stay in ’shape’, but im picking on women because they usually never move away from cardio types of excercise for fear of looking like this this buff woman to the right

Your body naturally consumes calories rather or not you excercise, hell roughly 30% of the calories you eat are burned off just by digesting the food.  So if your trying to only eat 1000 calories a day to look ‘good’ your really only giving your body about 700 calories to work off for that day, which is less than your body needs to maintain itself.  Sure you will lose some weight, but at the cost of lost muscel, your immune system, and other things.  But thats nutrition, and another blog.  (Although these topics kind of cross each other.)

Basically what im getting at is this:  your body needs a certain amount of calories to maintain itself…  One thing women never think about is trying to increase this…  Alot of the ‘nice looking’ women i see on a daily basis are actually really out of shape, but just have the appearance of it because they have just the right amount of fat…  Otherwise they look something like this: Yeah, im sorry ladies… but this woman looks like a well dressed holocost victim.  But it really shows where im getting it, without the extra amount of fat around her you can see her muscel mass.  This mass is very small, and hardly takes anything to maintain, thats why she has to eat less and less to try to lose weight, not to mention most bad diets actually make your body eat itself because your depriving it of nutrients, and that mass gets even smaller… 

The real trick to losing weight is combining weights with the treadmill.  As you increase your muscel mass from this pathedic level your body will burn more calories throughout the day by just breathing, and you can now eat like a normal person, and not someone living on croutons and cucumbers.  It will take alot of tough training and a longgg time before you start appearing to be ‘ripped’ to avoid that, stop progressing to heavier weights…  Once you find a muscel mass your happy with… stick with that weight to make sure it stays active.  Keep running too…  But the real key is diet, less is not better…. Right is better…  No guy wants to hit on a holocost victim, and most ladies are not lucky enough to be really out of shape, but appear not to be… Seriously, grab a ‘nice looking’ girl’s arm and feel how squishy it is… shes not in shape or healthy… she just has that magic fat that makes her look good without actually having a healthy body.  This is a healthy woman, and an attractive one at that…

She has a great shape, legs, arms, stomach… all nice… and i bet you my left hand she lifts weights.  Its obvious, see the tone? the definition?  not flabby arm fat or something else…  She actually is this shape, and just lucky enough to have fat that looks close..  So ladies, look like that chick on the cover… Eat right (find a nutrionist, or GASP read a book instead of a article in cosmo..) then lift weights, and cardio…  and ignore the scale…  because i bet you that woman actually weighs about 130 or so depending on her height…  that muscel is heavier than fat..

This is a very hot looking chick… but look at her body… she is very much out of shape… no defintion, no tone, ect… just a magic level of fat that makes her look better than the holocost victim, but probally in a simular state of health… and i bet she is afraid of bread too..

Today we slept in a little, but went to pompei after we got up. (If you dont know anything about it… here ya go:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pompeii)

It was a roman city dystroyed in 79AD by a volcano.  Some of the bodies were burried in the ash, and then decompossed.  The bodies left a cavity which archiologist filled with plaster to give us a vivid view of the final position the bodies laid… including one of a dog    You can see some of them covering their mouth and face trying to stop from breathing in the burning ash.  I walked into some of the houses and saw paintings on the wall, gardens, the ampitheatre… all the good stuff.  A really cool expirence… was kind of cool knowing i was in someone’s living room that someone had lived in nearly 2000 years ago.  Tomorrow is my last full day here, so we will probally hoke the volcano and then maybe see the sister city of pompei.  Ill update this post later with pictures (uploading now)

Although its a city i really really looked foward to seeing, i have to admit… im a bit disapointing once i arrived. there is grafitti everywhere… and i mean everywhere. there is not a clean place of stone between any stores, some of the train windows you cannot even see out of. Everything from telephone boxes, to plywood at a constuction site… its all tagged. Looking past that, its a crowded place… the roman ruins are scattered around in newer buildings and it seems to hurt the presence of these momuments. Like the trevi fountain plaza… surrounded by 4 dirty everyday buildings… I am willing to bet vatican city is much more clean. Out of respect if anything else… Once you get past the shock that rome wasnt what u pictured in your head, the ruins are really something else. I walked into the roman colosseum, and looked down where the stage once was… and knew i was looking at the place where thousands of people died each year. Epic. Our stay was prolonged at the colosseum though, the chineese president was there for a private tour and they had the whole place shut down for that. police lined the streets, but i did get a video of the precession of cars as they went by. We spent the rest of the day on a tour bus just looking around. I would really like to spend more time here and really get to see and admire some of these things… but time does not premit it. maybe another visit is in order sometime in the future… i think im supposed to throw a coin in the trevi fountain to be able to return or something… some strange myth, but i didnt give that foutain shit… if it wants money it can get a damn job like everyone else!

I went to vatican city today, and the holy bastards closed the sisten chapel before we got to it… so we are going to see it in the morning.  I also found one of the spots from angels and demons… the wind… i found the stone on the floor of the guy blowing and stuffs.  Tomorrow we take a train to naples (we are staying in sorento because naples is apparently dodgey) …  anyways… let me try to get some pictures added to this post tonight! cya guys!

Well im currently on a train from milano (italy) to vience (italy) and im being harassed by to asian toddelers. They keep moving my table, playing wiht my bag, hitting keys on my laptop, and a moment ago the guy was checking tickets… and the little bastards grabbed mine and ran with it down the train WTF… if they were my kids i would beat them. I am deffinatly for the beating of the children. Thank you mom and dad for teaching me some discipline.. I want to eject one of these little bastards out the window! But anyways… our overnight train was not too bad.. Aside from the fact the guy sleeping under me (4 to a room) sounded like a dump truck crashing into a pryamid of empty metal trash cans… seriosuly, i dont know how he didnt wake himself up he was snooring soooooo fucking loud. We got to milano and swaped trains (which is where i am now). Oh yeah! and i think i just had my first encounter with a pick pocket…. i felt a tug going up some stairs, and saw someone\s hand on my wallet chain. I do not know if it was an acident or not… seeing how my pocket was right next to the rail… but either way i turned around and gave him the ‘let go of that or ill kill you’ look… I didnt take alot of pictures in barcelona… I guess the longer i am here, the less interesting simple things seem, such as streets and arcitechure. Every thing is starting to look the same. These kids are swining off the arm rests right now…. I hope one of them falls…. Damn kids are out of control, and they wont listen to their father who is yelling in a language i cant understand.

Anyways… 14 nights left in europe… and i am not looking foward to my train ride from naples to paris… thats going to fucking suck… obviously no internet on a train, but im going to throw a rough guess of 20 hours… No wonder we dont use alot of train travel in the states… it sucks. The only nice thing about it is occasionally looking out the window at the countryside… seeing farm houses and small villages… Thats nice.

But im done typing for now…

Day 2 with no internet..

Just woke up after some needed rest, last night we walked around what appears to be a suburb of veince got some lasanga from a corner place…. it wasnt bad, but it was not great either…. i think camparis used to have better. Then we went to the grocery store to get some food to snack on while we were here and some drinks… u can buy a 1.5 litre bottle from the store for 1 euro… and then outside our room there is a machine that spits out 12 oz cans of lipton ice tea for 1.5 euros… which makes it really damn expensive. We are outside the city, so we need to catch a bus to get into town…. once there maybe we can do some cool stuff. anyways…. i still cant post this, so maybe i will just post 1 huge blog the first time i find the internet.

We explored vience today… saw some cool stuff… still trying to think of things to buy you guys but anyways… time to get some rest!

Day 3…

Wow this is going to be some kind of long blog post… mainly because I did not have an internet connection from my laptop to make the post from… or upload pictures. Right now me and luke are headed towards some bed and breakfast place… This is going to be the ‘gayest’ part of the trip for us. We ran out of places to stay so we booked a b&b and i believe we have to share a bed. lol.. But the trains in italy have power plugs, which is very nice… means i can play games, or whatever i want on my laptop. Also the absence of out of control chinese kids is allways great too. I think i have about 20 minutes before we have to get off this train and get on the 1 to pisa… Its funny really… we are going to stay in pisa for 1 night, and we are really going there for a single reason… to see the leaning tower. After that, we are heading to rome. I just looked down and realised the date! I am going to be celebrating 4th of july in italy. lol Man I wish i was in england for that… i would wear american flag clothes and paint my face of something… damn red coat bastards!!!! I KEEEEL YOOOUUU!!! Naw… but really… i think their own punishment is their weather and food. But anywhom… Im going to start packing up my shit pretty soon and get ready to swap trains.

Now we are finally in our bed and breakfast place in pisa… its like someone’s house… haha … anyways, we have to get some stuff done here today since we are only here today!!!

just got to the hotel we will be staying at for 3 days… and im glad i booked most our stuff before we got here ebcause there is only 1 computer and no wifi for my laptop…  and i wrote a blog while on the train … i will see if i can figure that out before i leave, maybe there is a hotspot somewhere around here…

Okay, well barcelona is really a neat city… very nice.. nothing spectacular happened today aside from being ripped off by a dick head at a restraunt… fucking 7 euros (like 10 bucks) for 1 can of fanta… WTF!!!  We saw a church that has been in construction for 200 years…  but mainly we did alot of walking today.  Tomorrow night we are getting a night train to milano (yes, like the cookie) in italy… they were full on regular seats, but had a sleeper cabin available… which is like 75 euros a person (100 bucks) … but in the end that ended up being cheaper than staying here another night and then getting a regular chair on a night train… so im glad we did it…  I do hate dealing with the train stations though… seems like it allways takes us 2 hours to get a train booked.  anyways… i will add what pictures i have taken so far of barcelona!  and remember… if u wanna browse through my pictures the full albums are in the photo album…

Oh yeah!!!! I will be home on july 15th!  I am going to call STA travel and redo my flight for that day!  So somebody either buy me a decent meal or cook it… im tried of sandwiches and 10 dollar soda!

arrived in bareclona in 1 pc…  after this we go through italy, and then i have to make my way back towards london because i have to fly out of london or i lose my plane ticket.  so that might be a long jounry…  we have the unsed tickets for disney land in paris, so we might stop off there and use them… i mean why not? they are allready paid for ..

We arrived in estepona (spain) and have been staying with luke’s lovley grandparents.  We got over to gibralta today, which is actually part of the uk.. its like a small port and military island!  I will have my pictures from lisboa (lisbon) up today though!!  Maybe later tonight i will start uploading the pictures i have taken of this area thus far… great place… sea breeze, nice beaches and oceans… and a dry 95 outside…  its great weather.  Peering out on the porch..  I am looking at moraco from across the sea…  Kinda weird… i see aferica!  Anyways, im going to be eating soon.. and then i need a shower, but when i get back on later to check some things…  I will see about uploading some more photos!!  I also have a video i need to edit of me stopping on that zip line.
